Surf's Up

This week I'll be posting cards that we made last Saturday at a 10-10-10 class I hosted. This is one of the cards that we made, and I think it ended up being one of the favorites too! All of the cards we made at the class focused on stamp sets, colors, and accessories that are retiring.

The idea for this card came from Krystal over at Krysta's Cards and More. See THIS post to see her adorable surf card and matching ensemble. I love all the detail that Krystal had on her card, but I wanted to simplify a bit since this was supposed to be a card that you could make in 10 minutes.

This card uses the set Just Surfing. The surf boards were stamped and then cut out. To create the 'sand', I just tore the edge of the card stock and then added a little sponging. The hemp twine is two pieces tied together.
